Guidelines for Businesses
Welcome to the TrustAnalyser community. We're here to help you connect with your customers and build a powerful online reputation. To ensure a fair and trustworthy platform for everyone, we've created these guidelines for all businesses.
What to Do
-
Claim and Complete Your Profile
Provide accurate details about your business. A complete profile with a logo, description, and contact information appears more trustworthy.
-
Invite All Customers to Review
Invite all your customers equally and impartially to write a review. Don't "cherry-pick" only the happy ones. This ensures a fair and representative Trust Score.
-
Reply to Reviews Professionally
Engage with both positive and negative feedback. Thank customers for their time and address any issues raised. A public reply shows you care.
-
Use Feedback to Improve
Treat reviews as valuable business intelligence. Use the insights to improve your products, services, and customer support.
What Not to Do
-
Don't write reviews for your own business.
This includes asking employees, family, or friends to write biased reviews. Our fraud detection software is designed to catch this kind of activity.
-
Don't offer incentives for reviews.
Offering discounts, gifts, or payments in exchange for reviews is strictly prohibited and undermines the trust of the entire platform.
-
Don't pressure customers to edit or remove reviews.
Customers have the right to share their honest opinion. Instead of asking for removal, post a public reply to address their concerns.
-
Don't set up collection stations.
Do not ask customers to write reviews on your business premises (e.g., on a company iPad). This can lead to biased, pressured, and unauthentic reviews.
Consequences of Misuse
We take our guidelines very seriously to protect the integrity of our community. Businesses found to be in violation may face several consequences, including:
- →A temporary suspension of your account.
- →A public warning banner placed on your profile page.
- →Permanent termination of your account for severe or repeated offenses.
